Decorative Stamped: Concrete is a unique medium that allows a skilled craftsperson to stamp a design or texture into its surface while it is hardening, leaving behind a permanent change in the texture or pattern of the concrete. Color can also be added to the concrete mixture to allow for a wide variety of options.
Stained Concrete: Concrete can be stained using either a water-based stain or an acid stain. These stains color the surface of a concrete slab. The difference between using a stain and using paint is that with paint you really just coat the top of something, whereas with stain, the color is actually working its way into the surface. As stains (especially acid stains where a chemical reaction actually occurs) begin to bind to the concrete, they will highlight and create effects that will give your concrete slab a life of its own.
